We utilised a sophisticated array of VFX tools, each meticulously chosen to ensure the highest quality and seamless integration within the film's narrative. Our team delivered over 1,300 shots which encompassed set extensions and incorporated CGI vehicles in a chase sequence.
Seeing the Director's creative vision come to life in our recent project was a testament to the seamless execution of VFX at FutureWorks. The narrative centered around Rocky and Rani's love story, navigating familial and societal challenges. Our VFX Supervisor, Vinay Chuphal, describes the role of VFX as “subtly pivotal in enhancing the story and conveying complex emotions”.
Despite the movie not being inherently VFX-heavy, the expansive sets required technical solutions to match. Our VFX talent shone through in extending the grand scale of sets using techniques that seamlessly blended with wide-angle shots, providing an immersive experience for the audience. Notably, our expertise in VFX set extension came to the forefront in the musical scenes, adding aesthetic appeal and emotional depth to the songs.
Integrating VFX with CGI shots presented a fascinating and rewarding challenge for us. Transforming incomplete sets into visually captivating scenes demonstrated the complexity and creativity involved, showcasing our team's dedication and expertise.
With a track record of over 1,000 projects, We strive to consistently deliver, regardless of the project's complexity. The adept handling of diverse elements on ‘Rocky Aur Rani', from prep work to CGI vehicles, reflects our commitment to success.
Our proficiency in various software applications, such as Autodesk Maya, Foundry's Katana, Foundry Nuke, Adobe Photoshop, and ShotGrid, underscores our versatility in choosing the right tools for each project.
The ongoing collaboration between FutureWorks and the Dharma team highlights our capability to consistently bring the director's vision to life.
“The familiarity with our clients' working style proved to be invaluable during the post-production process,” says Vinay. “The ease of communication, understanding of preferences, and shared creative language streamlined our workflow. The collaborative environment, where ideas and references were exchanged freely, facilitated the process of achieving the precise and captivating results that our clients envisioned.”
